The National Coast Watch Council (NCWC) officially launched this year's Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA MO) on September 1, 2022. NCWC is designated as the overall coordinator of activities and program of MANA MO. Amador Research Services joins NCWC and the nation in celebrating the MANA MO 2022.

This year's MANA MO celebration is launched with the theme "Our Seas, Our Livelihood, Our Life Source: A Whole-of-Nation Approach Towards Raising Maritime and Ocean Awareness". NCWC will be conducting series of events and activities throughout the month including coastal clean-ups, mangrove planting activities, lectures, roundtables, and more. View and join their events here!

The government issued Proclamation No. 316 (s. 2017) declaring September of every year as the Maritime and Archipelagic National Awareness Month (MANA Mo). The celebration is a platform that synchronizes the celebration of all maritime-related events and activities in a single month to achieve a sense of unity and pride among Filipinos in addressing the threats to the coastal and marine environment toward preserving the Philippine maritime heritage.
