Amador Research Services (ARS), in partnership with the Temasek Foundation (TF) and Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP), successfully wrapped up the second leg of the 2nd TF-LKYSPP Southeast Asia Next-Gen Leaders Programme featuring select Southeast Asian (SEA) thought leaders as part of a regional learning journey event to the Philippines centered on exploring their roles as future trailblazers and changemakers of the world. 

'Arkipelago' tells the story of coastal communities in two towns – both named Infanta – located on opposite coasts of the country: one in Quezon province, facing the Philippine Rise, and the other in Pangasinan, overlooking the West Philippine Sea. By chronicling the shared dreams and struggles of fisherfolk in these towns, the film traces the hopes, challenges, and resilience of our archipelagic nation.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. signed the Maritime Zones Act (RA 12064) and the Archipelagic Sea Lanes Act (RA 12065).

With the passage of the Maritime Zones Act on the 3rd reading, the Philippines is a step closer to passing a foundational legislation.
